Bringing everyone together with the

best parts of life: Cats and Coffee.

AffoGatto is a concept that we have been dreaming of for years. After working in the coffee industry, then moving in to careers running a successful local pet care business together, the conversation kept coming up of what else we can do as our next adventure together. Each time, sitting over a cup of coffee, this dream of creating a local place where you know where the coffee and food is from, where you feel welcome the moment you walk in, and where you can relax, get some work done, or make a new friend kept coming back. And as these talks continued, our work in the animal industry and time spent volunteering and working with rescues kept slipping in along the way. Over time, Zack's love of puns brought things full circle to bring us to AffoGatto, combining a love of cats (Gatto) and one of Alisha's go to coffee drinks (Affogato) and thus, everything was set into motion.

    Zack and Alisha have called Colorado their home since 2017 and continue to deepen their roots by starting AffoGatto here in Falcon. After living in the area and getting to know our neighbors and community, we found a need for a place beyond the drive-thru chains close to home. After searching for the just right spot and waiting for the just right time to make their dream of running a coffee shop a reality, we found no better time and place than right here in our backyard. We both spent several years working in the coffee industry in our early 20's, Zack comes to us with an engineering background and frame of mind, Alisha with the passion for animals as co-owner of Pet Playcations, and we are so excited to be combining all of our experience with our love of supporting animal rescues, enjoying our community, and making sure those moments have some caffeine included of course! We currently reside just a few short minutes from the shop with our pups, our three cats, and a few guinea pigs.
